I haven’t applied for any awards or magazine features yet — mainly because I’ve been so busy filming weddings and putting all my focus into my couples rather than award submissions. Honestly though, my biggest “award” is my 100% satisfaction rate. Every couple I’ve worked with has been happy with their films, and that matters way more to me than a badge or a headline. Knowing people love their wedding film years later is the real win.
Hi, I’m Simon 👋 My approach is super relaxed and natural. I don’t stage or interrupt your day — I’m there to quietly capture real moments as they happen. Most couples tell me they barely notice I’m filming, which is always the goal. I focus on the little things that make the day feel real — the nerves, laughs, hugs, happy tears, and all the in-between moments. I’ll gently guide you during couple portraits if needed, but everything stays easy and unforced. When it comes to the edit, I create cinematic films that blend beautiful visuals with real audio from the day, like your vows and speeches, so your film feels emotional, personal, and completely you.
I’m always looking for the real, unplanned moments — the ones you don’t realise are happening at the time. Things like nervous smiles before the ceremony, a squeeze of the hand, parents getting emotional, friends laughing during speeches, and those quiet little glances between you. Of course I capture the big moments too, but it’s often the in-between stuff that ends up meaning the most. My aim is to tell the full story of the day in a way that feels genuine, emotional, and true to you.
The most important thing to know is that I genuinely care about your day and your film. I’m not there to rush, copy a template, or just “tick boxes” — I treat every wedding like it actually matters. I’m very easy to work with, quick to reply, and I’ll always be upfront and transparent. On the day, I’m calm, relaxed, and there to support you as much as capture everything naturally. If you book me, you’re getting someone who’s fully invested in telling your story properly and making sure you love your wedding film — that 100% satisfaction rate is something I really stand by.
That’s a really hard one because every wedding is different, but honestly my favourite shoots are always the ones where the couple are completely themselves and not worried about the camera. I love weddings where the day flows naturally, everyone’s relaxed, and there are lots of genuine moments — laughs, emotions, people being fully present. Those days always turn into the most emotional films because nothing feels forced. If I had to pick, my favourite weddings are usually the ones where the couple trust me, forget I’m there, and just enjoy the day together. That’s when the magic really happens and the film almost edits itself.
