I’m Jo, an acoustic guitar player and singer, and I love creating the perfect atmosphere for drinks receptions—those in-between moments where everyone relaxes, reconnects, and the celebration really begins. Live music brings warmth and personality to this part of the day, giving your guests something memorable to enjoy as conversations flow and glasses are raised.

My background as a musician is in contemporary worship leading, so I naturally bring a sense of connection and ease to every performance—reading the room and shaping the energy so the music feels like part of the celebration, never just background noise.

I’ll be there for 1–2 hours during your drinks reception, providing a live acoustic set that complements the mood of the day. Whether you’d like laid-back favourites, feel-good singalongs, or a blend of songs that reflect you as a couple, I’ll tailor the set so it feels personal and fitting.

I’m always happy to help with song ideas if you’re unsure what would work best—I often ask couples to add inspiration to a shared Spotify playlist so we can build something that suits your style and keeps the atmosphere just right.

My sound system is included, so whether your drinks reception is indoors or outdoors, everything is taken care of.

I’ll be there for the 60–90 minutes of your ceremony, covering all the key moments. This includes music as your guests arrive and are seated, your walk down the aisle, the signing of the register, and your joyful recessional if you’d like.

I’d be v happy to help choose songs with you if you’re feeling stuck, I usually ask couples to add ideas to a shared Spotify playlist and then we can brainstorm so that the music reflects your story and style. My experience has helped me learn to read a room and help each moment lead into the next, avoiding any awkward gaps!
