– I provide all sound and lighting equipment unless the venue setup requires me to plug into existing kit—this must be agreed in advance. – I require at least one hour for setup and one hour for teardown either side of the DJ set. – Access to the performance area must be safe, dry, and available during setup/teardown windows. – Music must end at the time agreed in advance—please check your venue's cut-off to avoid surprises.
With over 17 years of experience as a professional DJ—including rock clubs, weddings, and even Download Festival—my approach is all about making the music feel personal and properly tailored. I specialise in alternative genres like rock, metal and punk, but my wedding sets always strike the right balance between your musical identity and a party everyone can enjoy. I work closely with each couple to create something unique. You’ll fill out a detailed music preferences form that covers genres, must-plays, do-not-plays and general vibe, and depending on your package, we’ll then have an in-person or video call consultation to fine-tune everything and talk through how the night will run. On the day, I keep mic work minimal and focused—just enough to support key moments—so the music can flow naturally. Whether you want something bold and alternative or just a great party with a few unexpected twists, I’ll make sure your night sounds like you.
My musical influences span a wide and sometimes chaotic spectrum—everything from raw, riff-driven rock to electronic, ska, and swing-infused oddities. Formative bands for me included Adam and the Ants, Slipknot, Thrice, Aerosmith, The Offspring, Green Day, Alanis Morissette, Radiohead, My Chemical Romance, Muse, Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, The Correspondents, Infected Mushroom, KMFDM and Alice in Chains. These days I’m vibing with everything from Bilmuri, Imminence and Bring Me The Horizon, to Bad Omens, Polaris, Tesseract, Bloc Party, Caravan Palace, Meryl Streek, The Interrupters, Death From Above 1979, Sikth, Bob Vylan, Vukovi, and Wargasm. That diversity feeds into how I approach weddings—I love blending unexpected choices with undeniable floor-fillers. Whether it’s heavy, electronic, punk, nostalgic, theatrical, or a total genre switch mid-set, I draw from all these influences to create something that feels alive and distinctly you.
I’ve already been lucky enough to play some brilliant venues, but there are definitely a few still on the bucket list. Warwick Castle is a big one—and I’m actually booked in there next year, which I’m buzzing about. I’d also love to DJ a wedding at the Clifton Observatory in Bristol, and I’d jump at the chance to play at 2000 Trees Festival if anyone ever fancied tying the knot mid-festival. Other dream venues? The Roundhouse in Camden for its sheer atmosphere, Tunnel Beaches in Devon for that dramatic cliffside backdrop, and Wylam Brewery in Newcastle, which looks like the perfect combo of industrial charm and party-ready energy. If it’s full of character, a bit unexpected, and has space for a decent sound system—I’m in.
I’m always chasing those moments when the room shifts—from polite nodding to full-on chaos on the dancefloor. The sudden roar when a forgotten favourite drops. A grandparent two-stepping next to someone in a battle jacket. That one perfect crowd-singalong when everyone loses themselves in the music, even just for a few minutes. I aim to capture the energy that happens when a couple’s personality comes through in the setlist—when the music reflects them, and everyone else feels invited into it. Whether it’s a carefully chosen first dance, a sneaky pop-punk drop, or a last-song-of-the-night mosh pit, it’s all about creating connection through sound.
The most important thing to know is that I treat every wedding as a one-off. I don’t use a standard playlist, and I won’t try to steer you toward “the usual.” I take the time to understand your music tastes—through a detailed preferences form and a proper consultation—and then build the night around you. If you want wall-to-wall metal all night and your guests can like it or lump it, that’s exactly what you’ll get. It’s your day. If you want some crooners early doors for the grandparents, and a full-on rave to end the night, no problem. If you want to mix it up from the start—blending rock, indie, guilty pleasures and dance every few songs so everyone stays involved—I'm on it. I’ll arrive with a full library of tracks, including all your must-plays, but no fixed plan other than what you and I have discussed. I read the room, respond to the energy, and keep things flowing in a way that reflects you. If music matters to you, and you want someone who’ll build the night around your vibe, you’re in safe hands.

Couples should choose me if they want a wedding DJ who genuinely listens. I don’t just give a token nod to your music preferences and then default to a one-size-fits-all setlist—I build every wedding from scratch. You’ll fill in a detailed music preferences form, then we’ll sit down for a proper consultation to go through it together and shape the vibe you want. I don’t turn up with a fixed playlist—I bring a full library, including all of your must-plays, and then read the room live on the night to keep guests of all ages engaged. Whether you want a packed floor from the first dance or a slow build into chaos, I’ll adjust in real-time to make sure the music tells your story—not someone else’s. If you care about the music and want your night to feel like you, I’m your DJ.
