This fee ensures the following;
You will have a fantastic, modern ceremony shaped around the two of you
Your ceremony will be written just for you -no templates or re-used scripts
You will receive a beautiful commemorative wedding certificate to mark the occasion
You will either meet with your celebrant in person, if feasible, or via video call at some stage of the planning process, to run through the ceremony and ceremony elements
Your celebrant arrives one hour before your ceremony to get organised, to pop in and say hi, if you're getting ready on-site and to speak to all of those involved in the ceremony, ahead of the ceremony.
Your celebrant will have their own PA system and microphone for the ceremony.

We'll talk, online and/or in person, as often as we need. Gradually, between us, we'll build up a plan of everything that will happen - from entrances, to music, to words, to rings, to different symbolic gestures, to where we'll all stand. I'll learn about your life and your values and write a ceremony that tells your story and guides you through making your promises to each other. You'll be in complete control and will always be able to edit or change anything... and, if you want, I can keep bits of it as a surprise for you. We'll often meet up at the venue the day before to check everything's ok. And then, of course, I'll come on the day with my best speaking voice and conduct proceedings!

Kick off with a 20-minute or so consultation with Cherry to talk about your ideas, you’ll then have a longer meeting face-to-face or over Zoom/Teams or in person to start planning.

The script will be written and sent to you for amendments.

You’ll have a constant WhatsApp connection, perfect for those 2 am “I just remembered Auntie Carol wants to do a reading…” or “actually we met in 2011, not 2012” moments - allowing you to carry on your wedding planning stress-free!

The package includes an additional face-to-face meeting, and this can be at home, a pub, a coffee14 shop, wherever you feel comfortable talking about the big day.

We can also do a venue visit with a mini rehearsal if required, so you know where to stand, sit, etc. and put your mind at ease that you won’t be surprised on the day!

I’d be happy to also include a symbolic moment in the service, this could be handfasting, a sand ceremony, warming of the rings or something 100% unique and made up by you to symbolise your bond.

Other services include “Master of Ceremonies” style - introductions, hosting the speeches or an activity and welcoming you to the dancefloor for the first dance - whatever style of dance you choose. This is charged at £50 per hour when booked with a wedding.

The £795 package includes travel up to 65 miles from Birmingham for the service and any meetings. Additional miles can be arranged - I’m flexible!

Having a celebrant allows you to personalise your wedding ceremony, so every single one is entirely different and devised with you in mind - it tells your story and is the centrepiece of your day. You can include loved ones, fully immerse your guests in the ceremony and incorporate a range of symbolic elements to make sure it reflects your personalities and what is important to you. With me, I’ll have worked closely with you in the months leading up to the wedding to make sure it is ‘just so’ and you will have somebody who genuinely cares about you leading your ceremony. And let’s not forget…with a celebrant you can get married absolutely anywhere, indoors or outside, at any time!

So, how does my process work? Following an initial introduction call and booking, I will email you several documents to help prepare you for the planning process - these include questions to consider for your ceremony, inspirational ideas and a sample of favourite readings.

A few months before your ceremony date, we will meet (preferably) in person, allowing me to find out all about you and your journey together. We will also discuss the finer details of your big day and how you want your ceremony to look.

Following this planning meeting, I will then draft your script and send to you for approval. It is really important to me that you are happy with your ceremony script; once you've read through this first draft, you can make suggestions of changes and amendments which I will happily edit so everything is 'just so.'

A few days before your wedding date, we will have a catch up call to iron out any final details, ask/answer questions and I can talk you through the ceremony, easing any early nerves!

On the day, I will arrive with plenty of time to help prepare and - having delivered a beautifully heartfelt and personalised ceremony - I will leave you with a special keepsake script.

There's no need for any formal signing of registers as you are already married, so the ceremony is yours to create the way you want it to be, the sky really is the limit.
